10. Teeth Cleaning & Maintenance Disclaimer
Our teeth cleaning and maintenance service is a non-invasive, cosmetic treatment designed to help maintain your dog’s oral health. It is suitable for dogs with none to mild/moderate tartar build-up, helping to remove plaque, tartar, and freshen breath.
Important Information:
- This service is not veterinary care. We do not diagnose, treat, or cure dental disease, and it does not replace veterinary dental treatment.
- Only a qualified veterinary surgeon can legally perform procedures such as diagnosis, subgingival scaling, or extractions.
- Owners consent to the use of a non-electric tooth de-scaler, applied gently to remove loose tartar, plaque, or stains.
- Treatment will be stopped if:
- Loose teeth are suspected
- The dog becomes stressed or aggressive
- Any obvious oral abnormalities are observed or suspected (e.g., foreign objects, oral warts, injuries, or tumors)
- Minor gum bleeding may occur during or after cleaning.
- Owners are responsible for ongoing dental care and following veterinary advice.
- Results may vary depending on the dog’s age, breed, dental condition, and tolerance of the procedure.
- By booking this service, owners acknowledge that:
- They understand this is not a veterinary procedure.
- Cleaning is performed at their own risk.
- The service may be stopped at any time if it is deemed unsafe or stressful for the dog.
- DOGTOWN Grooming accepts no liability for any complications, injuries, or outcomes related to this service.
